What is the Differance between Web Page & Web Site ?

Web Page : 

- Internet is a network of network or global network of connection different types of computers world-wide. 

- Internet is an information Highway as it is helping to transfer any type of information from one place to other or from one computer to other.

- On Internet, information is continuously flowing from one system to other. This information on internet is enclosed in special file i..e Web Page. 

- A web page is an internet file which contains all the related information which also called as web document or HTML Document.

- Information in web page can be any type – text, numeric, alpha-numeric, graphical, audio, visual, etc.

- Every web page on internet is designed by special designing scheme i.e. HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). 

- A web page, based on it contents, can be of following types:

i) Static Page – If the contents of web page is not frequently changed, and the page is not responsive of interactive to user, is said to be Static page. 

- The page which is containing only HTML code becomes static page.

ii) Dynamic Page – If the contents of web page is frequently get changed and the page is responsive to user actions, is said to be dynamic page. 

- Such page is also user interactive and contains code of other languages like VBScript, Java Script, Php, etc.

Website 

- A page represent collection of information only for single file, but a web site may consists of multiple pages. 

- Such collection of web pages which are related to same domain or field and are interlinked called as Web site.

- A website is a collection of publicly accessible, interlinked Web pages that share a single domain name. 

 - Websites can be created and maintained by an individual, group, business or organization to serve a variety of purposes.

- A site or website is a central location of various web pages that are all related and can be accessed by visiting the home page of the website using a browser.

- A website which is published world wide, must have: 

➤Unique address or URL. 

➤Home page, Index page or Default page
